Project R15 “M/Y Mirabella” Refit Underway, Delivery Set for 15 April 2026

Istanbul, Türkiye — Project R15, the refit program for M/Y Mirabella, is now well underway at Mengi Yay’s refit brand Reviva Refit by Mengi Yay. The yacht arrived in mid-September 2025, was hauled in the first week of October 2025, and is currently almost halfway through a major modernization package scheduled for delivery on 15 April 2026.

The refit period, running from early October 2025 through mid-April 2026, spans approximately 190–196 days (around 27–28 weeks, or 6.5 months), reflecting a tightly managed schedule for a refit of this scale.

Rob Dolling, VERPEKA DOLLING Superyachts, acting as Owner’s Representative and Technical Manager on behalf of the owner, is overseeing the project from the owner’s side, working closely with the shipyard and project teams to ensure technical integrity, quality execution, and adherence to the agreed scope and timeline.

Project coding note: “R” denotes Refit, with R15 marking the 15th major refit delivered since 2017 under the shipyard’s refit program numbering.

Interior Renewal (Milky Varnish Recovery)

Complete interior furniture and woodwork re-varnishing to address milky/discolored varnished surfaces
Deep sanding/stripping to veneer layer, refinishing, protective coating, and full-area protection
Upholstery Replacement

Electrical, Electronic & Lighting Modernization

Broad electrical upgrades and infrastructure revisions
Interior lighting renewal (large-scale fixture replacement)
Exterior deck lighting upgrades and enhanced onboard lighting quality
Targeted AV/electronics improvements and integration updates

Complete Exterior Painting

Full hull & superstructure paint renewal under controlled conditions (scaffolding, sealing, filtration, humidity/temperature control)
Removal, labeling, storage, and reinstallation of exterior hardware and navigation/lighting components to support painting quality

Deck Lifestyle Upgrades

Jacuzzi replacement, with custom design/production option for a bespoke spa solution
New exterior seating areas designed and produced for improved guest use and flow
Transformer integration within the swimming platform, including structural revisions, watertight chamber solution, and associated system integration
